As industry specialists and world leaders in ship safety and performance, we simply couldn’t miss this year’s Nor-Shipping convention.

Held between the 4^th and 7^th of April in Oslo, Norway, Nor-Shipping is one of the largest trade events in the world for the shipping industry, with a focus on future-proof solutions and sustainability. At Nor-Shipping, thousands of industry leading companies share products and solutions designed to drive forward the development of marine-based operations globally.

We’re incredibly proud to be a part of it – and we hope to see you there, too. Here’s a little more about the event, including where it’s taking place, what we’ll be doing and where to find us.

Nor-Shipping focuses on bringing the shipping industry together, breaking down physical and cultural barriers that can divide and emphasising the need for collective innovation and change at a multi-national level.

Nor-Shipping describes itself as ‘Your Arena for Ocean Solutions’ – which goes some way to explaining how vast and comprehensive the event really is. At Nor-Shipping you’ll find over 1000 leading tech companies, marine safety specialists and consultants, all sharing their knowledge and solutions, alongside shipping companies and industry leaders looking to enhance their operations with the latest technology and expert support.

Nor-Shipping is so much more than a ‘trade show’ – although it does offer us an opportunity to share more about what we do.

It is also famous for its Ocean Leadership Conference – where global visionaries share their thoughts and reflect upon current successes and challenges we face during the rapid development of the shipping industry. The event also takes time to celebrate those taking positive action to reduce climate change and environmental damage through innovative solutions. There are many talks over the course of the three-day event, covering a wide range of topics from the use of AI technology and streamlining commercial shipping operations to the implantation of greener, cleaner energy.

International events like Nor-Shipping have been cancelled or scaled down considerably over the last couple of years due to Covid-19 – so it’s really wonderful to be able to catch up with everyone once again and connect with some new faces, too.

What will we be doing?

We’ll be focusing on sharing the benefits of our Triple-C gas monitor this year, one of our most popular portable gas detection solutions which is trusted globally for its simple operation and robust composition.

Triple-C is a truly remarkable and unique piece of technology, developed specifically to cope with the diverse challenges of a marine environment. With its use of cutting-edge infra-red technology offering full immunity to sensor poisoning or drift and no need for charging or maintenance, it’s a world leading innovation which will dramatically increase gas safety on board any vessel.

When you come and visit us at Nor-Shipping, you’ll have an opportunity to see and use Triple-C in person, with the benefit of a full demo and a chance to ask any questions you may have regarding the specifications and capabilities of Triple-C.

The event is being held at the spectacular Nova Spektrum events building, just a short train ride outside Oslo city centre.
