Last Tuesday Nancy and Sam traveled to London to represent Martek at the Institute of Customer Services UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, an annual event celebrating the success of companies excelling at providing customer service.
As award finalists, the Martek representatives were invited to a pre-award show drinks reception where they met Joanne Causon, CEO of the ICS and chatted about the plans Martek have to excel in Customer Service.
After a delicious three course dinner, the awards commenced and Sam and Nancy waited to see whether Martek would take the trophy for the award for Employee Engagement Strategy.
Up against a few well known others such as Capita and Damart, the standard was high.
Martek did not take home the award this year, but did receive a mention as one of 20 new organisations this year to achieve ServiceMark for the first time in 2013. Well done Martek!!
