Martek Marine’s Managing Director, Paul Luen, has been appointed to the board of directors as Associate Director at Hull Kingston Rovers, the rugby league club he has supported since childhood.
After growing up in East Hull, Paul has remained a staunch supporter of the club since his dad took him to watch his first game when he was just 4 years old. He has always remained passionate about the club and even delayed the first day of his honeymoon so that he could attend a game.
“I’ve been a Hull KR fan from such a young age and I have a burning passion for the club”
“It was a great honour to be offered a position on the board of directors and I’m looking forward to contributing to our continued progression”.
“I’m going to be looking primarily at the commercial avenues open to the club and how we can build on the already strong links we have forged with local and national sponsors”.
Hull KR Chairman Neil Hudgell welcomed Paul to the club and believes his skills will be a valuable asset to the club.
“We’re delighted that Paul has agreed to join the board”.
“He is a very successful businessman and will provide us with the extra support and skills which can be vital to the continued prosperity at Craven Park”.
“Myself and all of the board are looking forward to working together with Paul”
