08/05/2009 - Martek Scoop Best International Business Honours at Yorkshire 42 Under 42 Awards 2009
Martek Marine is clearing another space in their trophy cabinet after winning one award and being short listed in a second category at the Yorkshire Insider magazine’s 42 under 42 awards 2009 on Wednesday evening.
The awards ceremony was held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds and was attended by 180 people. The 42 under 42 awards are a showcase for recognising the top 42 high performing Yorkshire entrepreneurs, whose innovation and drive has led them to dramatic business success before the age of 42.
Short listed for awards in the International Business and Company Innovation sections, Martek scooped the top prize for the Best International Business award. Although they did not win the Company Innovation section they did receive praise from the judges for the vision shown by the company.
