15/07/2010 - Martek Marine’s New Sales Director Looks Forward to Exciting Future
Martek Marine have recently appointed Anthony Carter as their new Sales Director to lead their international sales department into what promises to be exciting times ahead with the launch of a number of new products in the coming year.
Anthony will be responsible for the future development, delivery and retention of the Martek sales revenue. He has already been active in moves to further strengthen a department that, in recent months, has seen the introduction of a number of new faces to deal with new products and services like Fastcalgas – the newly launched calibration gas supply service introduced exclusively for shipowners and managers. There are also several other new products in the latter stages of development that will be unveiled to the marine industry over the course of this year.
Anthony has an impressive background in sales and business development in technical sales to heavy industry and the global electronics market spanning almost 20 years.
In recent years, Anthony has led teams of sales engineers and sales professionals to address UK, EU and global solution and legislation driven propositions.
More recently, he has held divisional responsibility at ACAL Plc for the supply of mission critical, high specification components and spares to the military aerospace market.
