20/03/2009 - Deadline looming for General Cargo Vessel compliance with SOLAS Reg II-1/23-3
The deadline for the installation of water ingress detection on general cargo ships is fast approaching. General cargo vessels of a length less than 80m or a length of less than 100m if built before 1 July 1998 are to be fitted with water level detection no later than 31 Dec 2009.
